Over three power-packed days at the world-famous Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada this April 23-25, 2007, you’ll take your first big step toward living The Good Life overseas.

Here we’ll introduce you to over a dozen of the world’s best overseas retirement and lifestyle destinations.

You’ll also meet our offshore experts, and can ask them any question you may have about living overseas…

… and you’ll be starting your new life overseas in one amazing place - Las Vegas – perhaps North America’s most exciting city.

Dear Nicaragua Alert Reader,

When you look beyond U.S. borders for a new place to live or retire…

… you’ll quickly realize three things:

  1. You can dramatically change your lifestyle - for the better. You can find exciting places to travel…romantic places to live… cheap places to retire… safe and affordable havens to enjoy rest, tranquility, and peace-of-mind… even rewarding investment and entrepreneurial opportunities to pursue…
  2. You don't have to be rich or famous to pull this off. In fact, you can enjoy a luxurious lifestyle in a warm, sunny locale for only a small, small fraction of what it would cost you to live back home. All you need is a little imagination to appreciate the opportunities the world has to offer and enough spirit of adventure to carry you out of your armchair and into the world of your daydreams…
  3. You can start enjoying your dream lifestyle almost immediately. You don’t need to wait years – or even decades – to start living the life you’ve always dreamed of. With the right information and the right connections, you can start living in an affordable Paradise - doing all the things you love to do - in as little as six short months…

That’s right.

Right now - in 2007 - you can still find hidden Edens all over the world where you can completely reinvent yourself and every aspect of your life…

Imagine crystal-clear turquoise waters lapping the shore
in front of your beachfront home…

… without spending a fortune.

Just take a look at some of the bargains you can find in a select few overseas hotspots:

The “Land of Smiles”- Here, you can rent a nice three-bedroom house in this hidden paradise for $245 a month. A part-time maid costs $50 a month. You can dine out with warm, friendly locals and enjoy a delectable meal for 50 to 60 cents. And if you want to play golf, prices range from $3.12 to $5.50 for 9 holes of play.

The “Valley of Flowers and Eternal Spring”-This small town offers many outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, bird watching, horseback riding, whitewater rafting, trout fishing, and gardening. Here, you can buy a beer at a bar for 35 cents, spend the afternoon at a beauty salon for $8, hire a full-time, live-in maid for $120 a month, and rent a home built to first-class standards for $300 a month.

The “Riviera Pacifica”-Where you’ll find wild, unspoiled beaches, warm, sunny weather, world-class surf spots, and breathtaking sunsets… all of which evoke strong images of Southern California’s Pacific Coast. You can get your hair cut here for $1.25… see a movie for $2... enjoy an excellent meal for two people, including a good bottle of wine, for less than $20, and buy a beachfront lot for as little as $40,000!

A CARIBBEAN BEACH PARADISE - The beaches here are among the most beautiful in the Caribbean. This eco-friendly area is home to an exclusive beach club popular with both locals and expatriates. Here you can find a three-bedroom beachfront home in a gated community with a pool, outside bar, patio area, and maid quarters with a sun deck for only $170,000!

A REMOTE MOUNTAIN GETAWAY - This hidden valley’s lush green hills, flowing rivers, and spectacular waterfalls help to make it one of the most unspoiled retirement retreats in the world today. Banana, mango, palm trees, and coffee plantations abound. It offers all manner of outdoor activities… hiking, biking, bird watching, horseback riding, whitewater rafting, trout fishing, and gardening.  According to Modern Retirement Magazine, “The town’s European and American expats appreciate the stable political scene, the mercifully modest cost of living… the clean air, and the outdoorsy activities...” Here you can find picturesque 2,500-square-foot homes for sale for just $60,000 to $70,000.

A CHIC DOWNTOWN APARTMENT - Visitors, expats, and local residents love this area for its funky sidewalk cafés, bohemian bistros, and eclectic antiques... And here, you can find a one-bedroom apartment in a neo-colonial building in good condition with pine floors for only $69,000. And the cost of living here is just as inexpensive.

Just think… you could soon start enjoying an exotic and affordable lifestyle in your own personal Shangri-La… a new place to call “Home”…

… a place where the climate is warm year-round, the people are friendly and inviting, the business opportunities are plentiful… and the living is nice, easy, and CHEAP!

But how do you get from here to there?

“Great show. Good group of readers. Would take months to find and acquire the interviews and information we received at this meeting.”
- Robert McGee

You need simply to say: ”Enough.”

Enough waking up every morning to drag yourself out of bed and push yourself through the day, meeting to meeting, with your cell phone pressed to your ear…

… only then to fall into bed each night bone-tired and all stressed out… so you can awake the next day and do it all over again.

Imagine watching dolphins playing together from your own deck.

You’ve thought about it many times… and you’ve been right.

There is more to life than the way you’re living it.

There’s a world of new opportunities waiting for you to discover it.

You need only to open your eyes.

You can start living just like this – and sooner than you think…

“We’d been reading International Living for two years when we finally decided to take the plunge. In April 2004, we bought a small adobe casita on 2 acres… for $35,000... With a million-dollar view of the Andes and a retiree’s price tag, we knew we had found our second home.”
- Bob and Glenda Reed

Whether you long for a beachside hideaway... a bougainvillea-filled courtyard in a colonial retreat... a quiet valley home surrounded by snow-capped peaks... or an elegant pied-a-terre in a cosmopolitan capital...

You can find it in some unique havens I'd like to tell you about.

Make plans to meet us this April in none other than Sin City itself – Las Vegas, Nevada –and we’ll show you exactly what you need to do to start enjoying an affordable, first-class lifestyle in as little as six short months.

Get the Inside Scoop from Expats Already Living Overseas…

You can live right on the shores of the turquoise Caribbean Sea, yet spend much, much less than what you're probably spending to live back home right now
.

That's because we invite not only institutional experts -- like offshore investment experts, real estate agents, and well-respected authorities on taxation, privacy, and international law -- but also our own editorial staff and the directors of our local offices all over the world.

"And to think that I paid less for this piece of property than I did for my car...and this I'll own forever! Our house - a 3,000-square-foot gem with a separate guest house, pool, outdoor living area, etc. - is the perfect place to entertain friends, gather with the family, or get away for some privacy. Really, it's a dream come true."
- Mark Ford

Whether you're looking for a place overseas to reinvent yourself... a retreat you can enjoy a month or two a year... or a destination where you can put down full-time roots... you'll be pleased with what you discover this April in Las Vegas. You'll learn about --

  • A glorious retreat just a couple of hours from the States where the weather lingers near 68 degrees Fahrenheit year-round, which means you can play golf January through December. Stores like Costco, Home Depot, and Wal-Mart stock familiar items at reasonable prices. Medical care is excellent… and a full check-up will run you just $30. Crime is nearly unheard of. And the pace of life is slow and gentle. For $120,000 you can enjoy a bright, two-bedroom house with a blossom-filled patio.

Croatia's stunning coastline is on its way to becoming the next Riviera.
  • The country with the world’s best retirement program, which grants 25% off airfares… 15% off doctors' visits… discounts on groceries, and more. Not only that, but you needn’t even be retired. If you’re between 18 and 78, you can qualify… and you only need live there four months a year.
  • The best place overseas to run a tourist-related business. If your business qualifies, you pay no income taxes for up to 10 years, no property taxes for up to 10 years, and you can bring in (or buy locally) all the supplies you need, from furniture and boats to linens and cash registers, tax-free. Depending on the type of project, you can qualify with an investment of as little as $30,000.
  • An extraordinarily affordable, friendly, and beautiful community in South America where the weather is near-perfect year-round. Nestled in a green valley, you can pick up a five-bedroom house on two-and-a-half irrigated acres planted with fruit trees. Here the mountain and valley views are stunning.
  • And much, much more...

Enjoy Las Vegas’ Lively Entertainment, Casinos, Shopping, Restaurants, and More…

While most of your days will be spent in meetings, we've left some room in our busy schedule for you to explore and enjoy sensational Las Vegas.

And what more can be said about Vegas?

Sin City?

The Entertainment Capital of the World?

North America’s Guiltiest Hedonistic Pleasure?

With its enormous neon-clad casinos, world-class restaurants, celebrity-studded nightclubs, world-famous entertainment venues, and other fun-filled attractions for visitors of all ages, Las Vegas ranks right near the top of the world’s “must-see-once-in-a-lifetime” destinations for just about anybody…

… and it seems to keep getting better and better.

After all, where else in the world can you do ALL of the following in one day?

  • Tour the canals of Venice while your gondolier serenades you and your loved one in perfect Italian (True, the guy’s probably from New Jersey, but you’ll let it slide…)
  • Take photos of the Eiffel Tower, the Statue of Liberty, an Egyptian Pyramid and an erupting volcano – all within minutes of each other…
  • Watch sword-wielding pirates defend their ships in a heated open-ocean battle…
  • Ride an adrenaline-pumping rollercoaster between Manhattan skyscrapers…
  • Surf powerful 12 foot waves – in a pool…
  • Dress up like Elvis and get married in a tiny chapel – at 4.45 a.m.…
  • Play Texas Hold-em against the best in the world…
  • Enjoy an all-you-can-eat steak and shrimp buffet for $5…

… the list goes on and on and on.

But, of course, you probably already know all this. You’ve probably already been to Vegas and have your own stories to tell.

That is, if you’re willing to share them…

Now, we invite you to Las Vegas as a guest of International Living, where you’ll stay in perhaps Las Vegas’ hottest of hotspots – the Palms Casino Resort.

The Entertainment Capital of the World...

Owned by George and Phil Maloof, the Palms Casino Resort is a favorite among celebrities, athletes, socialites, and jet-setters.

According to a recent article in USA Today…

“Maloof's main contribution to Las Vegas, though, has been to up the star wattage in what has increasingly become a celebrity playground.”

TV Personality Robin Leach added that the Maloof brothers “… opened the floodgates for celebrities.”

Britney Spears stays at the Palms whenever she’s in Vegas. The cast and crew of MTV’s “The Real World – Las Vegas” stayed and filmed here for the entire season. And many NBA players prefer to stay at the Palms, since the Maloof brothers have made special accommodations for NBA players – three oversized Murphy beds.

You see, the Maloof brothers also own the NBA’s Sacramento Kings.

So keep your eyes open while you’re staying at the Palms Casino Resort. You just might recognize someone famous walking past you down the hall or sitting next to you at the blackjack table!

Exciting, fantastic Vegas where dreams really can come true!

Once you step foot into the Palms Casino Resort, you’ll know you’re in for a decadent treat.

Here’s what you’ll find:

  • Your Deluxe Guestroom – spacious, comfortable, and complete with a 27-inch television, an in-room safe, an in-room refreshment center, a coffeemaker, a hair dryer, an iron and full-size ironing boards, Internet access, complimentary USA Today newspaper, Davies Gate bath products, and the most comfortable, inviting bed in all of Las Vegas!
  • Two acres of swimming pools, which can accommodate up to 3,000 guests…
  • The Glass Bar, located under an elevated, glass-bottomed deck pool…
  • 27 cabanas to keep you cool in the shade
  • Seven world-class restaurants, including Alizé with Chef Andre Rochat and Garduños, voted “Best of Las Vegas” eight times.
  • World-class shopping – including the Playboy store, the Hart & Huntington Tattoo Parlor, and a Palm Reading service …
  • The decadent Playboy Club (Hugh Hefner has played a big part in the Palms recent $650 million addition…)
  • A 14-theater movieplex – complete with luxury rocker high-back seats, THX digital surround sound by George Lucas, and wall-to-wall curved screens…
  • Poker, slot machines, table games, and a race and sportsbook…
  • A state-of-the-art recording studio…
  • The Palms Spa – get a facial… body treatment… massage…
  • The full-service AMP Salon
  • … and much, much more.

And as a conference attendee, you can take advantage of a group rates. Rooms are only $159 a night (excluding breakfast).

We have negotiated for the hotel to allow our attendees to take advantage of the discounted rate from April 22 - 27 to accommodate your needs (based on availability).

“Come January, baby boomers will start hitting 60 at the rate of more than 4 million annually, according to the U.S. Census Bureau. These adventurous, healthy seniors envision a retirement well beyond the stereotypical rocking chair. Lured by a more affordable cost of living as well as balmy temperatures, some are looking to extend their roots south of the border.”
- Albuquerque Journal

“While the United States typically is seen as a magnet for young migrants seeking opportunity, Latin America could become increasingly popular for Americans as an attractive region to retire. Part of the reason is lifestyle -- beaches, warm weather -- but economics also plays a role. Many of the more than 70 million baby boomers nearing retirement age haven't saved enough money for a comfortable retirement in the United States, but they might be able to live better south of the border.”
- St. Louis Post Dispatch

“When the first wave of 77 million baby boomers hits retirement in 2011, Central American countries may lure many Americans away with their impressive incentives. Panama, Belize and Nicaragua are among the nations offering retirees tax-free relocation services and discounted health-care benefits.”
- Pool and Spa News

72 Hours from Dream to Reality

I encourage you to come to this conference with your idea of the perfect locale in mind -- that mythic haven you muse about -- and let our speakers help you match that dream to a place that really exists.

Many of our contributing editors and in-country representatives will be on hand in Las Vegas, among them Brandon Clogston in town from Panama, Suzan Haskins, currently based in Nicaragua, and many more offshore experts.

From them you’ll gain invaluable on-the-ground insights about everything from the actual cost of day-to-day life to the trick to getting your belongings overseas - duty-free. Find out what brought them to their adopted homes (and the nearby countries they report on)… and discover what they like (and dislike) about each.

Six months from now you could be living your dream life overseas...

“As an International Living subscriber, I’d spent a couple of years dreaming of a new life somewhere in Latin America…  Since my partner had been in the hospitality business, we decided that running our own B&B was our best option… We enjoy our new lives tremendously and have no regrets. The pace is different in my new career. Last year, our occupancy rate was 95%.”
- Murray Friedman

“The wealth of information presented will I’m sure, prove invaluable. The amount of information and written literature exceeded my expectations, and it was easy to approach all of the speakers and the other seminar attendees for networking.”
- Dr. Pamela Dendtler

“Having the opportunity for one-on-one conversation with the presenters was well worth my time and investment in attending. The IL staff is ‘muy amable’, and very hard-working. The conference was well organized and amazingly on schedule. And thank you for the great parties.”
- Katharine Cotrell

And that's just the beginning. We've also invited a whole host of additional speakers, including expatriate entrepreneurs who will talk about what businesses they have underway, the unique challenges they face, and the lessons they've learned.

On the roster, too, are developers from some of our favorite countries as well as local attorneys. They'll detail for you the ins and outs of buying property and the various ways to get residency and citizenship in the countries we believe make the most sense.

Where Real Estate Offers a Hedge against U.S. Markets… and the Potential for Fast, Triple-Digit Returns

You know, beyond the attraction of comfortable, good-value living, many of the nations we'll profile make sense, too, as places to invest for profit outside the U.S. markets.

Adding international real estate to your investment portfolio is an excellent way to diversify your holdings… and a hedge against a sour economy at home.

Identify the right market at the right time, and you can see returns of 800% or more in as little as three to five years. This April we'll show you where and how to do it.

For instance, there's a nation where you can buy excellent-quality property for 30 cents on the dollar… which translates to land where you can build your dream home for less than $10,000 an acre (that's in a gated community with a clubhouse, pool, polo field, and more) or an elegant apartment in a good neighborhood of a cosmopolitan city for as little as $62,000.

In "the Costa Rica of this Decade," political, economic, and social stability has put the nation on the fast-track to First World status. En route, however, there's money to be made on coastal property and colonial-era homes -- if you buy now, before the place is "discovered."

This April not only will you hear about the destinations that hold the most profit potential right now, but you’ll also learn what to look for in a country when you're weighing the probability that property prices will go up. You’ll find out what indicators to watch and what warning signs should spell caution.

IL reader Will Huss and his wife Christine will soon move to Nicaragua’s southern coast – also known as “The Riviera Pacifica,” where it’s still possible to enjoy a perfect view of the Pacific Ocean from your home – complete with every modern amenity that you’ll need - for as little as 1/25th the price of comparable ocean-view properties in America.

Here you can get:

  • A 1-acre ocean-view lot within walking distance of the beach, restaurants, bars, dive shops, surf shops, and convenience stores – starting at only $40,000…
  • A spectacular beachfront lot in a secluded bay, right at the doorstep of the Pacific Ocean, in one of the foremost tourist hot-spots in the area, for as little as $65,000...
  • A two-bedroom, two-bathroom home with a wooden deck – only minutes from the beach with magnificent ocean views, starting at only $89,000...

Many of these properties would easily sell for several million dollars in places like Malibu, Newport Beach, or San Diego!

Will and Christine bought an oceanfront lot just outside the charming beach town of San Juan del Sur on their first trip in October of 1997… and they’ll get an amazing view to boot: a clean line to the horizon on the Pacific where the sun sets in spectacular color, casting a pink glow on the beach below.

The inexpensive cost of living in Nicaragua was a major factor in the Huss’s decision to move to Nicaragua.

They also appreciate the warmth of the people, the beauty of the landscape, the possibilities for new business, and the proximity to the States.

“San Juan del Sur is only a two-and-a-half-hour plane ride to Houston or Miami,” says Will, “Yet there’s a lot in Nicaragua to hold our interest.”

“We’re looking forward to doing things such as shopping for locally grown fruits and vegetables… or exploring the the rivers…  Lake Nicaragua… the towering volcanoes…” says Will, “But we wanted some control. We didn’t want to cut all our ties.”

“Yet,” counters Christine, “we’re really looking forward to a new adventure in living.”

“We’re not really retiring,” says Will, “we’re reinventing ourselves.”

Learn How to Use Offshore Destinations to Protect Your
Personal Privacy and Financial Freedom

“This was my first conference, and I found that it provided an exceptional variety of speakers and information... this conference was well worth the time and money spent.”
- Shaun Dolan

For many -- perhaps you included -- this interest in living and investing overseas is driven, more than anything else, by an urge to escape. As you know, in the months following the September 11, 2001 attacks on the U.S., Congress hastily passed several laws that significantly curb personal privacy and financial freedom.

But by taking advantage of certain offshore opportunities, you can reclaim some measure of privacy and better protect your hard-earned assets and investments.

To help you do so, we've invited several "offshore" experts to speak to you, among them Robert Bauman, former member of the U.S. House of Representatives and editor of The Sovereign Society Offshore A-Letter and Rich Luchinger of Sovereign International Asset Management, LLC.

From them you'll learn what to look for in an offshore jurisdiction and get an up-to-date report on the ones worth considering today. Plus they'll outline for you some of the most effective, legal ways to use offshore structures -- including how to take your IRA or pension plan offshore.

In Ron Brock’s opinion, the prices of homes in San Diego – especially when within 10 miles of any beach – have become completely out-of-reach.

“Today, you’ve got to pay over $600,000 just to get a track house in San Diego,” he says, “A fast-growing number of residents simply can’t afford to live there anymore.”

The good news for Ron?

The “70-mile miracle” – a stretch of coastline on Mexico’s Baja Peninsula - just south of San Diego - that has attracted a growing number of Baby Boomers seeking an affordable first-class retirement haven within steps of the ocean.

This stretch of coastline is only 30 minutes away from San Diego by car, yet it’s infinitely cheaper.
Ron visited this growing part of Mexico back in 1973, when he rented a home in the seaside town of Rosarito.

Today, Ron spends much of his time at his new home just south of Rosarito. It’s a 5,000 square foot home with two stories, a huge lot, and a magnificent, panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean that stretches for over 20 miles.

The cost? Only $150,000.

Ron estimates that this home would go for $3,000,000 to $5,000,000 in San Diego – only a few miles north!

And bargains remain in this fast-growing part of Mexico:

  • Two beachside towns – within an hour’s drive of San Diego - where prices are 60% to70% less than a similar home just across the border in the U.S. (You can’t even touch the price of an ocean-view home in San Diego for less than $750,000.) Here, water sports dominate the scene, including beachcombing, swimming, surfing, fishing, and boating. There’s also horseback riding, dune biking, bicycling, tennis, and, of course, golf.
  • A small town in the Sea of Cortez that boasts one of the world’s most prolific salt-water habitats with sport fishing tours available for avid anglers. If you’re a fisherman, you’ll be in your element here. It’s close enough to the U.S. border to make it a great weekend destination and just far enough to feel like you have really gotten away from it all. Here, quality homes can be constructed for less than half the cost in the U.S.
  • A former sleepy fishing village that has transformed into a world-class resort destination. In fact, The New York Times dubbed it “The Next San Diego.” It’s got everything from miles of coastline with sandy beaches and rocky coves to a growing crop of new restaurants and upscale resorts. Real estate prices are still affordable compared with those of other beach resorts. Properties are being built and sold quickly here--one 228-unit condo project reportedly sold out in seven hours last summer at an average of $300,000 each.

Now that Ron is retired, and doesn’t have to stress over California’s ridiculous prices, he spends his time doing something near and dear to his heart – taking care of Mexico’s canine population.

“I love animals – especially dogs. So I do everything I can to ensure the dog population in this area of Mexico is taken care of.”

When Ron’s not giving back to the community, he finds plenty of time to have some good ol’ fun in the sun. “I like the people in Mexico. They couldn’t be friendlier,” he says.

“And I’ve got the chance to live on the beach - and have the same lifestyle - that I did in San Diego. The only major difference is it’s way, way cheaper on this side of the border.”

You Gain a Truly Comprehensive, Up-to-Date Picture
of The World’s Best Opportunities

Rest assured, you'll come away from these three days with a truly comprehensive -- and current -- understanding of the best opportunities available to you overseas.

When they take the floor, our presenters won't just rely on last year's notes. They'll present up-to-date slide shows about each place we recommend, which means you'll see current photos of the offshore regions we think make the most sense as well as pictures of actual properties on offer.

Plus we'll hand each attendee a comprehensive Country Profile of every destination our speakers focus on. Each one of these printed reports is prepared within 10 days of the conference and contains exactly the kind of practical information you'll want to know if you're considering relocating or investing in a country, including a representative selection of real estate listings.

Taken together, these Country Profiles (nearly 100 pages of on-the-ground intelligence) provide an extraordinary resource. It's like a detailed, printed handbook to the world's best opportunities -- something you can refer to again and again. These Country Profiles are not available anywhere else. You simply cannot buy them. Yet they are yours, free, when you attend our upcoming Live & Prosper Overseas Conference, from April 23 to April 25, 2007.

image

This April, we’re including in our Live & Prosper Overseas Conference agenda a series of special Quick-Fire Bonus Sessions, 15-minute interludes designed to "cut to the chase" and answer the questions we hear again and again.

We'll focus on such issues as --

  • How to Find Your Dream Job Overseas
  • Staying in Touch: Communicating From Anywhere In The World
  • How to Understand Global Real Estate Markets
  • How to Get a Mortgage Overseas

Now, we know we can't tell you everything in the 15 minutes we'll devote to each topic. But that's OK, because we'll also provide you with a Special Report that corresponds to each Quick-Fire Bonus Session.

That means you'll have in-hand an in-depth discussion of each. These Special Reports, like the Quick-Fire Sessions themselves, are designed to be action-oriented. You'll find in each one not only practical advice from the field, but also names, numbers, email addresses, and more -- the hands-on resources you need to really make things happen.

More On-the-Ground Intelligence than You Could
Ever Hope to Track Down on Your Own…

Perhaps the most important advantage you gain by attending the Live & Prosper Overseas Conference this year is that in just three days, you'll learn about an extraordinary number of opportunities available to you all over the world. If you were to go trekking in search of them on your wn, you'd be at it for months... years, more likely.

Nicaragua’s dramatic sunsets offer up the perfect ending to a day in paradise (particularly enjoyable with a glass of local rum).

But for 27 years, our staff has been doing that legwork - on your behalf. This conference in April is your chance to benefit from the enormous stockpile of knowledge and perspective we've gathered.

In addition to the meetings and the Quick-Fire Bonus Sessions, you'll also gain entrance to our Exhibit Hall of invited sponsors – offshore experts, bankers, and others -- who will be on hand to tell you about their services and help round-out your understanding not only of each overseas destination, but of the resources available to you as you consider internationalizing your life and your portfolio.

You’ll receive a comprehensive Country Profile of every overseas destination our speakers focus on. Each report is prepared within 10 days of the conference and contains exactly the kind of practical information you'll want to know if you're considering relocating or investing in a country, including a representative selection of real estate listings.

Taken together, these Country Profiles (nearly 100 pages of on-the-ground intelligence) provide an extraordinary resource. It's like a detailed, printed handbook to the world’s best opportunities -- something you can refer to again and again. These Country Profiles are yours, free, when you attend our upcoming Live & Prosper Overseas Conference.

You’ll also receive our “Things To Do Before You Take The Leap” Live Overseas Checklist - a step-by-step concise guide on the practicalities of moving overseas.

You will also have PowerPoint presentations from the Conference sent to you for your reference.

You’ll Have Fun Learning As Well…

What's more, I promise this will prove an enjoyable social event. You'll have an opportunity to rub elbows in a casual environment with your fellow participants and speakers.

If you're traveling by yourself, please don't hesitate to come. You'll find you're among like-minded attendees -- interesting, entrepreneurial, well-traveled folks who share your interests. You'd be amazed at the number of friendships -- and even business partnerships -- that have sprung up among attendees of this conference in past years.

In Nicaragua the sun shines most of the year, on rugged tropical rivers, charming colonial cities, gentle rolling hills, accenting soaring volcanic peaks
and freshwater lakes.

We'll be organizing some informal social events, too -- making sure folks are headed to dinner together and suggesting some activities you might like to do while you're in Las Vegas.

That’s why the Live & Prosper Overseas Conference promises to be not only a life-changing event, but also an enjoyable and fun getaway.

We'll ensure you're well-connected by the time this conference comes to a close. You'll meet and hear from the staff in our field offices and from a whole host of additional speakers -- experts in everything from international real estate to offshore banking.

Together they'll deliver exactly the information you need to make an informed decision about the overseas destinations that make the most sense for your situation. Among the excellent speakers you'll meet and hear from are --

Robert E. Bauman, Legal Counsel, The Sovereign Society and a former U.S. Congressman. Mr. Bauman is the author of The Passport Book: The Complete Guide to Offshore Residency, Dual Citizenship, and Second Passports as well as a host of other books and articles. He will paint a picture of the current offshore landscape, giving you his top three picks for the safest places overseas to protect your assets and your privacy in 2007 and beyond. Plus he'll walk you, step-by-step, down the most prudent path to follow as you "go offshore," pointing out potential pitfalls and legal signposts.

Joe Gandolfo, Tax Planning Specialist, Joe M. Gandolfo, Ph.D. & Associates. Mr. Gandolfo is a nationally known income tax, estate tax, and gift tax-planning specialist. He'll show you how you can manage your personal income taxes, recapture some taxes for the past two years... sell your business, real estate, and stocks virtually tax-free...set up your estate to reduce income and estate taxes your heirs would pay on over-funded IRAs... do away with over burdensome estate taxes and probate fees without buying life insurance... and many more smart tax-saving ideas.

Suzan Haskins has been exploring and researching lifestyle and investment opportunities in Central and South America, the Caribbean and Mexico along with her husband Dan Prescher, on behalf of International Living for more than three years now. In 2001, they left Omaha, to join the staff of International Living in Quito, Ecuador. From there, the Haskins/Prescher team moved to Mexico. To ensure firsthand information they spent nearly three months on the road in Mexico before deciding to make their home in the country's Colonial Heartland where the weather is perfect year-around (really!) and there are so many cultural activities that finding a free spot on their calendar is rare., Last year they moved again – this time to Panama and right now they are spending some time in Nicaragua. So there is probably no one better qualified to help you answer your Latin American questions!

Rich is currently the Associate Director of Sovereign International Asset Management, Inc., overseeing off-shore investments, asset protection planning and IRA real estate purchases.   Rich has arranged IRA real estate purchases for clients all over the world.  Rich graduated from the University of Wisconsin and has a Master's degree in International Administration. Rainelda Mata-Kelly, L.L.M. Lawyer, Commercial & Shipping Law, Law Offices of Rainelda Mata-Kelly. With a Master's Degree in Law from Cornell University Law School and more than 20 years of legal experience behind her, Panama-based Mata-Kelly is ideally suited to answer your questions about the nuts-and-bolts of real-estate transactions, immigration, and work permits, as well as business-related issues like contract, labor, and tax matters. She'll outline for you the how-to's of becoming a "retiree" in Panama -- it's not a complicated process, but it is bureaucratic. She'll tell you exactly what you need to do to take advantage of the benefits offered by Latin America’s best retiree-incentive program.

Turalu Brady Murdock, Counsel, First American Title Insurance Company. Ms. Murdock works in the Caribbean/Latin America Division of First American, based in South Florida, which provides residential, commercial, and homebuilder title services from Mexico to Chile and throughout the islands of the Caribbean. She'll discuss how... and why... you should guarantee your investment overseas and outline the steps you should take to do it. Getting title insurance on your property -- particularly in young real estate markets where title disputes are often common -- is a prudent way to ensure that you know what you're buying... that what you're buying is a "saleable" piece of property... and that in the event of a future title challenge, you've got somebody at your disposal who will look after your interests.

After one year in Naples, Florida, professional artist Mary Howard was ready for a change.

“I thought that Naples would be where I’d spend the rest of my life after growing up in California. However, even though Naples is a beautiful city on the Gulf, I was not really feeling ‘at home,’ especially with the political drama in the States, the rising costs of medical care and, of course, the recurring hurricane dilemma in Florida.”

Mary had been a subscriber to IL for over 15 years, so she pulled out some old issues on Panama that had previously interested her. Soon later, she took an exploratory trip to Panama, and fell in love with the mountain town of Boquete.

After six more trips, Mary filled a 40 foot container with all her belongings and moved to Panama with her three animals - and happily settled in Boquete, where she purchased a house on a beautiful 5 acre property in the mountains.

However, even though her art was selling well in Boquete, and she loved the mountains, it was a bit cooler than she had anticipated. She also was a little bit too far from the big-city action of Panama City.

Therefore, after a year in Boquete, she started looking in the coastal area near Panama City - and found the perfect place – a two-acre property with a weekend house, a caretaker’s quarters, and a guest house.

“The property was gorgeous - with over 100 mature trees and a manicured lawn,” says Mary.

“I immediately bought the property and am now constructing a new home for myself, as I will be using the other structure for my friends who are already visiting me, and the weekend house will become my art studio, and workshop.”

“Panama is now my home, and I cannot imagine ever returning to the States for other than visits!    Certainly there have been challenging situations here, but the good points far outweigh the negative, and I just roll with the punches now.”

You’ll be surprised at how affordable your slice
of oceanfront paradise can be in Panama…

“I love the people here. The country has exquisite natural beauty. Panama City truly is a world class city, and I find myself making frequent trips to shop, attend cultural events, and buy art supplies. I even drive here – and that’s after telling myself I’d never do something like that!”

Why is Mary so keen on living in Panama?

“The cost of living is much lower than the States… I’ve got a live-in caretaker on my beautiful property… the medical care is low-cost – and excellent… and I could never live the life that I have here in the States.”

“I go to the beach every morning – which is only 5 minutes from my place with my Doberman, come home, enjoy a breakfast of fresh tropical fruits grown right on my property. Then I paint or work on art projects for several hours. After that, it’s time for lunch, and a siesta. After that I may get together with friends for the evening.”

Mary feels that it is vitally important to give back to the community, and the country of Panama for welcoming her with open arms.

“Being an animal lover, I helped to start a spay and neuter clinic in Boquete, which is now going strong (several hundred animals have been sterilized, and the number of abandoned animals is much less noticeable. Since moving closer to Panama City, I will turn my efforts to fund raising to help the animal shelters in Panama City and the wonderful "SPAYPANAMA " project started by Pat Chan,” says Mary.

“The best decision I ever made was moving here!”
